- Southern California Native and fell in love with volleyball at a young age
- Played club and varsity volleyball
- Graduated High School Valedictorian, UCLA graduate, Received Master’s in Clinical Psychology
- Coached club volleyball for 19 years
- Won National Silver Medals in 2003 and 2004 with Sunshine Volleyball
- Won National Silver Medals in Open Division at Junior Nationals in 2013 and 2014
- 2018 Gold Medal Winner at Nationals with her Sunshine 14 team
- Former Sunshine Volleyball Club North Director
- Named 14’s Coach of the Year in 2017 by the AVCA
- Named Cal-Hi Coach of the Year in 2017
- Twice Named Daily News Coach of the Year
- Twice Named CIF-SS Coach of the Year (Division II and III)
- Along with all the successes, Stef’s true passion is developing youth and empowering young women
- Stefanie resides with her husband and coaching partner, Darrin Phillips
